We fight desertification in Tanzania with female empowerment
For every AMA jewel sold, a tree is planted in Tanzania, helping combat desertification and promoting female empowerment.
Fighting desertification
The loss of forests and the deterioration of soil fertility negatively affect food security and access to clean water in Tanzania. The Maasai women, who are responsible for water distribution, are most affected.
Empowering women
The Maasai women, traditionally faced with complex social challenges like limited access to the job market, benefit from our initiative as they can be effectively employed in agriculture. We provide trees for the Arusha region and support the Maasai women with training on how to care for them. This helps them create food security and develop their role in society.

Each AMA jewel handcrafted in Valenza is accompanied by a unique serial code that certifies its authenticity and tracks its origin.
This code is linked to the certified diamond, laser-engraved in the belt. Additionally, for every jewel, a tree is planted in the AMA forest, and its progress can be tracked directly by the owner, creating a connection between the jewel and ecological sustainability.
